Modern Arap edebiyatında 'mensûr şiir'

Abstract

Geçen yüzyılın başlarından itibaren yeni bir şiir türü olarak ortaya çıkan ‘Mensur şiir’, modern şiirin klasik şiir türünden ayrılarak, gerek üslup gerekse de şekil itibariyle kazandığı yeni bir ‘form’u tanımlamaktadır. Moreh bu makalesinde, sanatlı nesrin geçmişine ait kısa bir arka plan verdikten sonra, mensur şiir ve lirik şiirin farkı, mensur şiirin Arap edebiyatına kazandırılmasında çabaları gözlemlenen Emin er-Reyhani ve Cübran gibi şahsiyetlerin şiirlerinin özellikleri, er-Reyhani ve Walt Whitman’ın ‘serbest nazım’ açısından ilişkisi gibi konulara değinmektedir.‘Poetry in prose’ defines a new form of poem, which arose at the beginnings of the last century and had difference from the classical poem both in style and in shape. In this article, Moreh, after giving a short background about the history of ‘artistic prose (nesr fennî)’, he studies the main difference between the poetic prose (nesr şi’rî) and the prose poem (şi’r mensûr), the essential characteristics of Emin erRihani’s and Cubran Halil’s poems, who introduced the genre of ‘prose poem’ to Arabic literature, and the relationship between er-Rihani and Walt Whitman from the point of ‘free verse’.
