İmam-hatip liselerinde okuyan Suriyeli öğrencilerin yaşadıkları uyum ve dil sorunları

Abstract

Göç olgusu hem göçmenler hem de yerli halk için farklı alanlarda birçok soruna neden olmaktadır. Lise dönemi öğrencilerin gelecek yaşamları ile ilgili önemli kararlar verdikleri ve zorunlu eğitimin son eğitim kademesi olması nedeniyle oldukça önemlidir. Ülkemize göçmen olarak gelen kişilerin ülkeleri incelendiğinde çoğunlukla anadillerinin Arapça olması, İmam Hatip Liselerinde Arapça derslerin oluyor olması Suriyeli öğrenciler için tercih etmesine neden olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesinde öğrenim gören Suriyeli öğrencilerin yaşadıkları uyum ve dil sorunlarının belirlenmesi ve çözüm önerilerinin getirilmesi amacıyla 99 Suriyeli öğrenciden veri toplanmıştır. Verilerin toplanması araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Suriyeli Öğrenci Başarı Durumu Belirleme Anketi, Suriyeli Öğrenciler İçin Uyum Ölçeği ve kişisel bilgilerin bulunduğu form kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda İmam Hatip lisesinde öğrenim gören Suriyeli öğrencilerin başarı durumları Türkçe derslerinde Arapça derslerindeki başarı durumuna göre %36,4 oranında azalmakta, Arapça dil öğretiminin olmasının başarıyı olumlu etkilediği, ailevi ve ekonomik sorunlar ile akran zorbalığının başarıyı olumsuz etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin uyum süreci ile yaş, Türkiye'de lise eğitimine başladıkları sınıf düzeyi, İmam Hatip Lisesine başlamadan önce Türkçe öğrenmeye ilişkin bir programa katılma durumu, Türkçe öğrenirken yaşanılan zorluk derecesi değişkenleri arasında anlamlı farklılık olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The phenomenon of migration causes many problems in different areas for both immigrants and indigenous people. High school students are important because they make important decisions about their future lives and compulsory education is the last level of education. When the countries of immigrants coming to our country are examined, the fact that their mother tongue is Arabic and that there are Arabic courses in Imam Hatip High Schools makes it preferable for foreign students. In this study, 99 foreign students were collected to determine the problems faced by the foreign students studying in Anatolian Imam Hatip High School and to find solutions. For data collection; The form consisting of the Questionnaire for Determining Success of Foreign Students, Compliance Scale for Foreign Students and personal information sections were used. As a result of the study, it was determined that the success of foreign students studying at Imam Hatip high school decreased by 36.4% in the Turkish lessons compared to the success of the Arabic lessons.
