İntrakranial operasyonlar sonucu oluşan hematomlar

Abstract

Çeşitli nedenlerle 1977·1987 yılları arasında kiliniğimi de ameliyat edilen 1904 intrakraniyel patolojili olgu, postoperatif hematom oluşması yönünden retrospektif olarak incelendi. 23 hastada ameliyat gereksinimi gösteren hematom oluşumu saptandı. Hematomların oluşumundaki nedenlerden en önemlisinin yetersiz kanama kontrolüne bağlı olduğu görüldü ve neticeler literatürle karşılaştırıldı.

1094 cases operated on for various reasons of intracranial pathology were evaluated retrospectively for occurance of postoperative hematomas in our clinic between 1971-1987. 23 cases (1. 2 %) of postoperative clot collection were found causing increased intracranial pressure signs and evacuation were performed. The causes of post operative hematomas were investigated and found mostly due to inadequate hemostasis. The results were discussed with review of the literature.
