Câhiliyenin kavramsal ve tarihsel mahiyeti ışığında şiirinin sosyal arka planı

Abstract

Bu çalışmada cahiliyenin, kavramsal ve tarihsel mahiyeti ışığında şiirinin sosyal arka planını gün yüzüne çıkarmak üzere, önce cahiliye terimi, kavram ve tarihsel süreç olarak irdelendikten sonra bunun ışığında dönemin sosyal arka planı ele alınmıştır. Kavramsal ve tarihsel mahiyeti bağlamında cahiliye, önce sözcük ve terim anlamları bakımından incelenmiş, ardından da somut veriler ve örneklemelerden hareketle, ayrıldığı tarihsel dönemleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Sosyal arka planı bağlamında ise, önce dönemin sosyal yapılanmasının özünü oluşturan kabile faktörü, ardından da sırayla kadının toplumsal konumu ve cahiliye şiirindeki yeri ile yoksulluk faktörü ve cahiliye şiirindeki yeri incelenerek her biri için belli başlı bazı örneklere yer verilmek suretiyle konu aydınlatılmaya çalışılmıştır.

This study is intended to spotlight the social background of the pre-Islamic period’s (Cahiliyye’s) poem. For this purpose, first, the term Cahiliyye was examined both as a concept and as a historical period, and then the social background of the period was dealt with. In the context of its conceptual and historical essence, the term Cahiliyye was analyzed both in word and term meanings; and also judging from the concrete data and examples, its historical periods which was classified. As for the social background, first, tribe fact which constitutes the major characteristic of that period and then successively, woman’s social status and her place in Cahiliyye’s poem, and destitution fact and its place in Cahiliyye’s poem were analyzed, by providing illuminating examples.
