Abstract
Bugün mevcut bir çok inhalasyon anestezik ilaçlar arasında nitroz oksit en az toksik ve patlamayan olarak bilinir. Nitroz oksit zayıf bir ajan olmasına rağmen halotan 'ın MAC değerini 1/3 oranında azaltır. İndüksiyon için Barbitürat, inhalasyon için % 50-70 nitroz oksit ve yeterli dozda kas gevşeticiler bugün için en emin anestezik tekniği olarak kabul edilmektedir.
Of the many inhalation drugs available today, nitrous oxide is the only one which is both non-explosive and nontoxic. Nitrous oxide is considered to be relatively weak but 70 % Nitrous oxide can reduce MAC for halathan to one third. Barbiturate for induction, nitrous oxide 50 % to 70 % and muscle relaxant in sufficient doses can be considered as a safe anesthesia technique.
