Sosyolojik perspektiften göç olgusunun “First Cow” filmi üzerinden değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Göç hareketleri, insanlık tarihiyle paralellik göstermektedir fakat göç hareketlerinin görünürlük kazanması kitlesel boyuttaki göçlerle mümkün olmuştur. Sanayi devrimi ile kırdan kentlere doğru artan kitlesel göçlerle yeni bir toplumsal durum ortaya çıkmıştır. Kitle halinde göç alan şehirlerde birçok yeni ihtiyaçlar ortaya çıkmış ve bu ihtiyaçların arkasındaki sebeplerin incelenmesiyle birlikte göç olgusunun tanımlanması yapılmıştır. Göç hareketlerinin ise birçok sebebi bulunmakla birlikte bu sebepler; doğal, ekonomik, sosyal ve siyasi olmak üzere dört ana başlık altında incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada göç olgusuyla birlikte ele aldığımız First Cow adlı sinema filmi ise kitlesel göç hareketlerinin başladığı tarihlere denk düşen döneme örnek teşkil etmesiyle ve senaryosunda birçok incelikle göç olgusunu işliyor oluşuyla özgün bir içeriktir. First Cow adlı filmin değerlendirilmesi ise göç kuramları çerçevesinde sosyolojik çıkarımlara dayandırılarak yapılacaktır.

Migration movements are parallel to human history, but the visibility of migration movements was made possible by mass migrations. A new social situation emerged with the increasing mass migration from rural to urban areas with the industrial revolution. Many new needs have emerged in cities that receive mass migration, and the phenomenon of migration has been defined by examining the reasons behind these needs. Although there are many reasons for migration movements, these reasons are; It has been examined under four main headings: natural, economic, social and political. The movie First Cow, which we discussed together with the phenomenon of migration in this study, is a unique content as it sets an example for the period corresponding to the beginning of mass migration movements and deals with the phenomenon of migration with many subtleties in its scenario. The reading of the movie has been tried to be done with sociological inferences within the framework of migration theories.
