Okul öncesi dönemde doğa temalı açık hava etkinliklerinin çocukların sosyal becerilerine ve benlik algılarına etkisinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada okul öncesi dönemde doğa temelli öğrenme etkinliklerinin çocukların sosyal becerileri ve benlik algısına etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma öntest sontest kontrol gruplu deneysel desene uygun olarak planlanmış ve yürütülmüştür. Bu araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim yılında Bursa İli Osmangazi ilçesinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı resmi anaokulu bünyesinde bulunan 15 deney, 15 kontrol okul öncesi öğrencisinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada bulunan deney ve kontrol grupları, amaçlı örneklem yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada çocukların sosyal beceri düzeylerini belirlemek amacı ile "Sosyal Beceri Geliştirme Sistemi Derecelendirme Ölçeği", benlik algısı düzeylerini belirlemek amacı ile "Demoulin Çocuklar İçin Benlik Algısı Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Aynı zamanda çocukların demografik bilgilerine ulaşmak amacı ile araştırmacının hazırlamış olduğu "Kişisel Bilgi Formu" uygulanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS IBM programı ile yapılmıştır. Analizlerde bağımsız örneklem t testi ve ilişkili örneklem t testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, deney grubundaki çocukların sosyal beceri ve benlik algısı düzeylerinde artış görülmektedir.

This study aimed to examine the effects of nature-based learning activities in preschool period on children's social skills and self-perception. The research was planned and carried out in accordance with the pre-test post-test control group experimental design. The study group of this research consists of 15 experimental and 15 control preschool students in the official kindergarten affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in the Osmangazi district of Bursa Province in the 2023-2024 academic year. The experimental and control groups in the research were determined by the purposeful sampling method. In the study, "Social Skills Development System Rating Scale" was used to determine children's social skill levels, and "Demoulin Self-Perception Scale for Children" was used to determine their self-perception levels. At the same time, the "Personal Information Form" prepared by the researcher was applied to obtain the demographic information of the children. Analysis of the data obtained from the research was done with the SPSS IBM program. Independent sample t test and related sample t test were used in the analyses. According to the findings of the research, there is an increase in the social skills and self-perception levels of the children in the experimental group.
