Öğretmen yetiştirme düzenimizin XI. Milli Eğitim Şurası kararları ışığında değerlendirilmesi.

Abstract

1983 yılı Türkiye'de öğretmen yetiştirme bakımından bir dönüm noktası sa­yılmaktadır. Daha önceleri değişik sürelerde değişik programlar uygulayan öğret­ men yetiştiren kurumlar bu tarihte üniversite çatısı altında toplanmıştır. Yüksek öğretim Kurulu bu tarihten itibaren programlarda, öğrenci alımında ve öğretim kadrosunda bir takım birlik kararlarını uygulamaya koymuştur. Bu makalede bu uygulama kararlarının XI. Milli Eğitim Şurası Kararlarıyla tutartığı incelenmektedir.It ıs possible to trace a continuous development in Turkish education prog rammes, in terms of both duration and quality in line with the ascending aspiration of the Turkish people and a planned progress in meeting the quantitative needs of young people. For about five decades, primary teachers were trained in "normal schools", the high school level, middle school teachers were trained in the teacher training colleges of two, then three years duration, white high school teachers were trained in the universities, both in subject matter and in pedagogical areas. From 1983, teacher education in Turkey has been entrusted to the universities. Certain unifying principles are applied to all teacher aducation institutions and faculties under the university laws, rules and regulations.
