Üniversite öğrencilerinde mutluluk korkusu ile umut arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, üniversite öğrencilerinde mutluluk korkusunun umut ile arasındaki ilişkisinin açıklanmasıdır. Bu çalışma nicel araştırma yöntemine dayalı ilişkisel tarama modeli baz alınarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu bağlamda araştırmanın evrenini Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören bütün üniversite öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın örneklemi kolayda örnekleme yöntemi baz alınarak 425 üniversite öğrencisinden seçilmiştir. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak; Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Mutluluk Korkusu Ölçeği ve Sürekli Umut Ölçeği kullanılmış ve toplanan veriler yapısal eşitlik modellemesi, bağımsız örneklemler için t-testi, bağımsız örneklemler için ANOVA ile analiz edilmiştir. İlgili analizler sonucunda üniversite öğrencilerinde eyleyici düşünce düzeyinin mutluluk korkusunu negatif yönde etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Ancak alternatif yollar düşüncesi ile mutluluk korkusu arasında anlamlı bir ilişkiye rastlanmamıştır. Bununla birlikte üniversite öğrencilerinin mutluluk korkusu düzeyleri; yaş ve cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemektedir.The aim of this study is to explain the relationship between fear of happiness and hope in university students. This study was carried out on the basis of relational survey model based on quantitative research method. In this context, the population of the study consists of all university students studying at Bursa Uludağ University. The sample of the study was selected from 425 university students based on convenience sampling method. Personal Information Form, Fear of Happiness Scale and Continuous Hope Scale were used as data collection tools in the study and the collected data were analyzed by structural equation modeling, t-test for independent samples, ANOVA for independent samples. As a result of the related analyses, it was determined that the level of activist thinking negatively affected the fear of happiness in university students. However, no significant relationship was found between alternative paths thinking and fear of happiness. In addition, fear of happiness levels of university students do not show a significant difference according to age and gender variables.
