Sıçanlarda normal böbrek morfolojisine ve deneysel piyelonefrit oluşumuna östrojenin etkisi

Abstract

Çalışmamızda, sıçanlarda östrojen uygulamasının normal böbrek morfolojisine ve deneysel tek taraflı E. Coli Piyelonefriti oluşumuna etkisi araştırıldı. Bu amaçla 110 adet sıçan kullanıldı ve östrojen, hayvanlara değişik sürelerle uygulandı. Sonuç olarak östrojenin, böbrek dokusunda bir nevi "non-spesifik nefropati" meydana getirdiğini veya en azından piyelonefrit oluşumunu kolaylaştırıcı bir seri değişikliklere zemin hazırladığını ve bu bulguların östrojen uygulama süresi ile orantılı olarak arttığı gözlendi.

Effects of estrogen application on the kidney morphology and its predisposing action on the experimental unilateral E. Coli Pyelonephritis were searched in rats. 110 rats were used for this purpose and estrogen was applied in different periods of time to rats. As conclusion, we observed that estrogen yielded a "nonspecific nephropathy" or at least a serial morphological change in normal kidney tissue which can be accepted as a predisposing factor in the pathogenesis of pyelonephritis. In addition, this finding correlates well with the estrogen application period.
