Hemodiyalizde görülen adale krampları üzerine % 30 Dekstroz, % 20 Mannitol ve Diazepamin etkileri araştırılmıştır. 26 hastada 4 devre halinde % 30 Dekstroz, % 20 Mannitol, Diazepam + % 30 Dekstroz ve Diazepam + % 20 Mannitol tedavileri uygulanmıştır. Takip edilen 236 krampta uygulanan bu tedaviler sonucunda % 20 Mannitolün diğer tedavi yöntemlerine göre daha etkin olduğu , Diazepamın ise koruyucu etkisi olmadığı ve kramp adedini kramp süresini uzattığı izlenimi edinilmiştir.
Effects of the solutions of 30% Dextrose, 20 % Mannitol, Diazepam + 30% Dextrose and Diazepam + 20 % Mannitol on the muscle cramps of hemodialysis patients have been investigated. Our results suggest that the 20 % solution of mannitol decreases both the frequency and severity of muscle cramps contrary to the effects of Diazepam in the hemodialysis patients.
