Tiroid bezinde kist hidatik (olgu bildirimi)

Abstract

Memleketimizde endemik olarak bulunan kist hidatiğin yer eşim gösterdiği organlardan biri de tiroid glandıdır. Ülkemizde kistik tiroid nodüllerinin ayırıcı tanımında kist hidatik de akla getirilmelidir. Tıp Fakültesi Cerrahi Anabilim Dalı'nda 12 yıllık sürede saptadığımız 2 olgu nedeniyle Türkiye'deki yayınlar gözden geçirildi.Hydatid cysts are found endemically in our country and rarely invade the thyroid gland. In the differential diagnosis of the cystic thyroid nodules, cystic hydatid should be remembered by the surgeon, especially in the countries where the disease is endemic. In twelve years, two cases of hydatid cysts of thyroid gland are seen in the surgical department of the Uludağ University Medical Faculty. One of these cases is reported with the Turkish medical literature review.
