The comprehensive treatment approach is the administration of antithyroid drugs and radioactive iodine and thyroidectomy. The treatment option of therapeutic plasmapheresis (TP) should be considered as a stabilizing measure, especially when patients have failed or can not tolerate conventional treatment. This case report aimed to share that TP might be an alternative approach to be added to standard treatment methods in life-threatening conditions.
