The earthquake property in our country , which may cause life and good loses , isa dramatic truth which is obviously known. This natural disaster , causing sudden and big changes in the natural environment, is one of the most important problems of the architect who studies together with other technic experts in the construction of buildings which are components of artificial environment , planning and construction process.During design stage , earthquake resistance rules are not sufficiently put into practise , that dialogue of architect and engineer is not sufficiently put into practise since preliminary design stage , mistakes in choosing and using of material , in sufficient labour . lack of control , construction conditions may be determined as problems in the workplace of architects in the building damages which appears to be caused during earthquakes. To research active and passive control systems in the earthquake resistant design and to supply usage of technological opportunity are necessary. Architect is the person who should be researcher , reformasi and comprehensive and should collaborate with engineers who are taking over role in the construction process. Architect is also a person who has necessary and sufficient information about repair and tightening for damages which appear because of earthquakes. Earthquake resistant building consciousness about design , material and construction have to be one of the most basic principles of architectural education and its practise.
