In this study, properties of the centrifugal clutches are shortly deseribed and their importance on energy savings are investigated. With the aid of AMSTRAD CPC 6128 computer and an interface, phase current and voltage measured and power consumption wtıS calculated. As a resull, it was found that some amount of energy can be saved with the centrifugol clutches.
