It is thought that these pieces can be effective material for teaching piano and chamber music as well as for stage experience. ‘What is the place of six-hands piano literature in piano education in Turkey?’ as a research question was investigated. Six piano educators were interviewed with semi-structured questions, and the results were analysed with the N-Vivo 11 Qualitative Research Program. According to the answers the six piano educators and performers gave to the semi-structured interview questions, six-hands piano pieces are colourful, enjoyable piano literature for playing, and six-hands piano literature should be used in a more widespread manner by composing new pieces and by appearing in the piano and chamber music curriculum.
