Abstract
Obstrüktif sarılıkların değerlendirilmesinde radyolojinin rolü son yıllarda çok hızlı bir gelişme göstermiştir. US ve BT gibi noninvaziv kesitsel yöntemler, perkütan transhepatic kolangiografi (PTK) ve endoskopik retrograd kolangiopankreatografi (ERCP) gibi invaziv yöntemlerin radyoloji pratiğine girmesi ile biliyer obstrüksiyon tanısında ve ayırıcı tanısında yeni gelişmeler olmuştur. Çalışmamız 1989-1991 yılları arasında Radyoloji Anabilim dalına başvuran ve sarılık ön tanısı alan 13'ü erkek, 17'si kadın toplam 30 olguyu kapsamaktadır. Olgularımızın tümüne ultrasonografi ve 23 üne de PTK yapılmıştır. Çalışmamızda biliyer obstrüksiyon oluşturan lezyonlarda US ve PTK'nın tam değerini karşılaştırdık. Bunu yaparken amacımız birbirini tamamlayan her iki yöntemin tam değerini saptamak ve obstrüktif sarılıklarda diagnostik protokol hazırlanmasına katkıda bulunmaktı.
The role of radiology for evaluating obstructive jaundice has shown very rapid improvement in recent years. There have been new developments in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of the biliary obstructions with the entering of non-invasive methods such as PTC, ERCP and noninvasive sectional methods such as US and CT to the radiology practice. Our study consisted of 13 male and 17 female, totally 30 cases which had obstructive jaundice as a former diagnosis and referred to the Radiology Department between 1989-1991. We performed US in all cases and PTC in 23 cases. In our study, we compared the diagnostic value of US and PTC in the lesions which cause biliary obstruction. Our purpose was to determine the diagnostic value of both methods which completed each other and to supplement for preparing diagnostic protocol in obstructive jaundice.
