dc.description.abstractEn çok kullanılan elin saptanması amacıyla, Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Anatomi Anabilim Dalı koleksiyonunda bulunan 120 humerus’ta sulcus intertubercularis ölçümleri yapıldı. Ölçüm parametreleri olarak sulcus intertubercularis’e ait genişlik (X1), derinlik (X2), iç duvar açıları (X3 ve X5) ve dış duvar açıları (X4 ve X6) alındı. Elde edilen ölçümlere ayırma (diskriminant) analizi uygulandı. Ayırma analizi ile X3-X6 arasındaki değişkenlerin, ayırma fonksiyonunda anlamlı değişkenler olduğu belirlendi (P<0,001). X1 ve X2 değişkenleri ise fonksiyonda anlamlı etkiye sahip değildi (P>0,05). Anlamlı değişkenlerle elde edilen ayırma fonksiyonunun doğru sınıflama oranı %85,8 olarak bulundu. Bu sonuçlar iç ve dış duvar açı ölçümlerinin, sağ el kullanımının baskınlığını belirtmede değerli kriterler olduğunu düşündürdütr_TR
dc.description.abstractThe measurements of intertubercular grooves were taken on 120 humeri available at the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine of Uludağ University, to uncover the handedness status. The measurement criteria of intertubercular grooves were width (X1), depth (X2), angles of medial wall (X3, X5) and angles of lateral wall (X4, X6). Discriminant analyses were performed on the obtained data. The parameters of X3-X6 were found as significant (P<0,001) while X1 and X2 were not (P>0,05). The correct classification rate of the discriminant function obtained with the significant variables was calculated as 85,8 %. This rate seems to be accepted for handedness determination.en_US
