| dc.description.abstract | II. Abdülhamid döneminde modern eğitim sistemi ve kurumlarının gelişimi hız kazanarak tüm ülke çapında yayılmaya başlamıştır. Diğer yandan yapılan bu faaliyetleri ve ülkedeki eğitimin mevcut durumunu ortaya koyan yayınlar da hazırlanmıştır. Bu dönemde eğitimle ilgili hazırlanan çalışmalardan başlıcasını Maarif Salnameleri oluşturur. Bu araştırmada, Maarif Salnamelerindeki bilgilerden hareketle, Menteşe Sancağında bulunan geleneksel eğitim kurumu medreselerle birlikte modern eğitim kurumları olan; ibtidailer, rüşdiyeler ve idadi ile gayrimüslimlerin okulları incelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda mevcut okulların idari ve öğretim kadrosu, dersleri, okulların açılış tarihi hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Ayrıca eğitimöğretim faaliyetlerinin ayrılmaz bir bütünü olan ve Menteşe’de bulunan kütüphaneler ve kitap sayıları ile Menteşe Sancağının 19. yüzyıl’ın sonundan 20. yüzyıl’ın başına eğitim durumu tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | In the period of Abdulhamid II, the modern education system, and institutions developed rapidly and started to spread nationwide. At the same time, official documents such as the Maarif Salnameleri (Education Yearbooks) published for sharing the information about the condition of education in Turkey began to be published. The current study aims to examine madrasahs, the primitive education institutes, and the modern education institutes, İbtidailer and Ruşdiyeler, İdadiler and schools for non-Muslims as recorded in the mentioned official documents. Moreover, information is presented regarding the teachers, administrative staff, lessons, start up dates, libraries, and the number of books in the Sanjak of Menteşe. In this way, the state of education in Menteşe, from the ending of the 19th century until the beginning of the 20th century will be described. | en_US |
