dc.description.abstractÇalışmada işaret dili eğitimi almış ve almamış üniversite lisans öğrencilerinin engelli bireylere yönelik tutumlarını ve uyum düzeylerini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma kesitsel tanımlayıcı araştırmadır. Çalışmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan, aydınlatılmış onam formunu dolduran 115 öğrenci örneklemi oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilerden 57’si işaret dili eğitimi almış ve 58’i işaret dili eğitimi almamıştır. Katılımcılara 25 Aralık 2016- 01 Mart 2017 tarihleri arasında Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Özürlülere Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (ÖYTÖ) ve Hacettepe Kişilik Envanteri (HKE) uygulanmıştır. Eğitim almış ve almamış öğrencilerin HKE toplam puanları arasında bir fark yoktur. Eğitim almış öğrencilerin ÖYTÖ toplam puanları ve ÖYTÖ alt faktör eğitim ortamı, kişilerarası ilişkiler, kişisel özellikler, çalışma yaşamı, yetkinlik-bağımsız yaşam puanları ve HKE alt ölçek sosyal uyum, kendini gerçekleştirme, sosyal ilişkiler, sosyal normlar puanları eğitim almamış öğrencilerden yüksektir (p<.05). Öğrencilerin ÖYTÖ ve HKE toplam puanları arasında bir ilişki yoktur. İşaret dili eğitimi almak engelli bireyleri tanımayı ve onlara karşı olumlu tutumlar geliştirmeyi sağlamıştır. Bu ruh sağlığında toplumsal farkındalık yaratmada önemli bir strateji oluşturabilir.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractIt aims to determine the attitudes towards individuals with a disability and adaptation levels of university students with and without sign language training. This study is descriptive. The sample consisted of 115 students who volunteered to participate in the study. 57 students were with sign language training towards disabled individuals and 58 students were without sign language training towards disabled individuals. December 25, 2016 - March 01, 2017, The participants were administered Introductory Information Form, Attitude Towards Disability Scale (ATDS) and Hacettepe Personality Inventory (HPI). There is no difference between the HPI scores of the two groups. The ATDS scores of students and the sub-factors of ATDS are educational environment, interpersonal relationships, personal features, working life, competence-independent life scores of educated students are higher than those of non-educated students. The sub-factors of HPI are social adjustment, self-realization, social relations, and social norms scores of educated students are higher than those of non-educated students. The sign language training enabled to recognize individuals with disabilities and develop positive attitudes towards them.en_US
