dc.description.abstractAraştırma konusu olan konut Marmara Bölgesi’nde, İzmir’i Bursa ve İstanbul’a bağlayan devlet karayolu üzerinde bulunan Balıkesir İli’nde konut olarak inşa edilmiştir. Günümüzde Orman Bölge Müdürlüğü İdare binası olarak işlevini sürdürmektedir. Balıkesir’in tarihi mahallelerinden biri olan Eski Kuyumcular Mahallesi’nde, 9 pafta, 558 ada, 40 parselde yer alır. Balıkesir Tren İstasyonu’nun yakınında ve Vasıf Çınar Caddesi üzerindedir. Bu çalışmada Cumhuriyet’in ilk yıllarında yapılan ve giriş katı Valilik idare katı, üst katı Vali Konağı olarak işlev gören bu tescilli yapının mimari özellikleri belirtilecektir. İnşa edildiği dönemin siyasi görüşü paralelinde tasarlanmış binanın mimari özellikleri, döneminin üslupsal oluşumu paralelinde irdelenecektir.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractThe mentioned residence was built in Marmara Region, in Balıkesir, on the state highway which connects Izmir to Bursa and Istanbul. Today, the building sustains its function as Regional Directorate of Forestry Administration Building. It is located in Eski Kuyumcular District, which is one of the historical districts of Balıkesir, on 9 map section, 558 block, 40 parcel. It is close to Balıkesir Train Station and it is on Vasıf Çınar Street. In this study, architectural features of this registered structure which was built in the first years of Republic and whose first floor serves as governor administration and the upstairs as Governor’s House was described. Architectural features of the building which was designed in parallel with the political view of the period in which it was built were analyzed according to the stylistic formation of the period.en_US
