Ekin ve çevirici

Abstract

The translation that briefly means the transfer of a text, as it is, from a language to another, presents many important problems concerning the fonn and the content of the source language and the target language. One of the most important of these is the cultural problem,- because all languages include a particular micro universe proper to themselves. This very interesting problem is related to the contents.

Çeviri, en kısa tanımıyla, bir dilde söylenmiş olan bir sözü, başka bir dilde, anlamsal ve anlatımsal eşdeğerliliğe sahip başka bir söze dönüştürme çabası, aynı zamanda, bu çabanın ürünü olan sözdür. Ürün olarak aldığımızda, yani bir metnin çevirisi, o metnin eşi, başka bir dildeki yansıması olmalı. Kişinin gölgesi sudaki yansıması, ikizlik, Narcisse söylencesi, hep bir eş/çift olma durumunu verir. Le Horla (G. de Maupassant), Through the Looking Glass (L. Carroll) Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (R.L. Stevenson) hep bu tema üzerine kurulmuşlardır. Kendi eşini/yansımasını gören kişide korku, dehşet, en azından yadırgama, irkilme kaçınılmaz. İtalyancadaki "traductore tradittore", ya da G. Mou nin'in çeviri - kadın benzetmesi ("Sadığı güzel güzeli sadık olmaz") hep bu yadu·gamayı/irkilmeyi akla getirir.
