dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada 1466-1536 tarihlerinde Avrupa'da yaşamış ilahiyatçı, filozof ve hümanist Desiderius Erasmus'un Hristiyanlık hakkındaki yenilikçi fikirleri ve eleştirileri ile İslam'la ilgili birtakım görüşleri ele alınmıştır. Bu konuda önemli argümanları olan ilahiyatçının ileri sürdüğü fikirler açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. İlk bölüm, Erasmus'un Kilise'ye yöneltmiş olduğu eleştirileri ve kendisinin Hristiyanlık anlayışını ele alan ikinci bölüme metodolojik bir zemin sunmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, Ortaçağ Avrupa'sında toplum yapısı, siyasi iç ve dış sorunlar, yaşanan bunalımlar, kilisenin fonksiyonu ve din gibi meselelere yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, Erasmus'un Kilise ve Papalığa yönelttiği eleştiriler, İncil çevirisi ve yorumu ile teolojik görüşleri ekseninde onun Hristiyanlık anlayışı açıklanıp değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca, Hristiyanlığa getirmiş olduğu yeni bir soluk ile içerisine düştüğü kargaşada Luther'le yollarının kesişmesi ve onları ayıran temel argümanlar üzerinde durulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde, Ortaçağ Avrupası düşüncesine hakim olan genel bir İslam ve Türk imajı tarihsel olarak değerlendirildikten sonra Erasmus'un bu konudaki görüşleri ele alınmıştır.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractIn this thesis, reformist ideas, criticism of Christianity and some opinions about Islam of the theologian, philosopher and humanist Desiderus Erasmus living in Europe in 1466-1536 have been discussed. In this respect, the ideas which he has put forward with important arguments, is tried to be explained. The first chapter provides methodological base including his critiques towards Church and his understanding of Christianity. In this contextual framework, this part of the dissertation is arranged for social structure of Medieval Europe, internal and external political problems, experienced crises, function of Church and religion. In the second chapter, Erasmus's criticism directed towards the Church and Pope, his translation of the Bible, horizon of Christianity on the axis of his theological views are explained and evaluated. Moreover, his common attitude with Luther in the confusion of a new breath, Erasmus brought to Christianity, and main arguments distinguishing them are focused. In the third chapter, after a historical evaluation of Islam and Turkish image widespread in Medieval Europe, views related to the mentioned subject of Erasmus have been held.en_US
