dc.description.abstractOsmanlı’dan modern Türkiye’ye geçiş dönemi, Türk tarihinin önemli dönüm noktalarından biri olmuştur. Modernleşme dönemi olarak adlandırılan bu dönemde toplumda önemli bir yere sahip olan din ve Osmanlı aydınının 19.yy.da tanıştığı medeniyet kavramı arasındaki ilişkiye dair tartışmalar başlamıştır. Bu tartışmalar günümüzde de devam etmektedir. Çalışmamızda bu konu ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca çalışmada, Hüseyin Kazım Kadri ve Musa Carullah Bigiyef’in hayatı ve eserleriyle çalışmaları kısa bir şekilde tanıtılmıştır. Bu düşünürlerin hayatlarıyla ilgili bir çok çalışma yapılmıştır. Fakat bu tezde onların din-medeniyet ilişkileri konusundaki fikirleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda ulaşılan sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractThe period of the passing from the Ottoman to modern Turkey is a turning point for the history of Turkey. This period called `modernization` witnessed significant debates among the intellectuals about the relationship between religion and the idea of civilization. These disputes have continued until now. This thesis examines the content and approaches in these. To this end, Hüseyin Kazım Kadri and Musa Carullah Bigiyef are taken as two outstanding intellectuals of the period whose works provide us with important examples of the debate on the relationship between religion and civilisation. There have been already a number of studies conducted on their life and works. But in this thesis, I will examine their ideas of relationships between religion and civilization. The thesis concludes with a comparative analysis of their views.en_US
