| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada 4. ve 5. sınıf öğrencilerinin problem çözme stratejilerini öğrenimi ve kullanımı incelenmektedir. Bu çalışma deneysel bir çalışmadır ve araştırmayı gerçekleştirmek için ilk olarak Bursa ili Süleyman Cura İlköğretim Okulu'na devam 4. ve 5. sınıf öğrencilerinden deney ve kontrol grupları seçilmiştir. Çalışılacak stratejiler tahmin ve kontrol, ilişki arama, şekil çizme, geriye doğru çalışma, problemi basitleştirme ve sistematik liste yapma olarak belirlenmiştir. Deneysel çalışma 10 hafta sürmüştür. Bu süre içinde bahsedilen stratejilerin her biri öğretilmiş ve öğrencilerden bu stratejilerle' ilgili problemleri çözmeleri istenmiştir. Dersin başında ve sonunda problem çözme ile ilgili bir test uygulanmıştır. Deney grubu deneysel çalışmalara devam ederken diğer tarafta kontrol grubu normal derslerini izlemiştir. Ek olarak, daha önce geliştirilen bir tutum ölçeği kullanılarak problem çözme öğretiminin matematiğe karşı olumlu tutum gelişmesinde etkili olup olmadığına bakılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulguları özetle aşağıdaki gibidir: 1- İlköğretim 4. ve 5. sınıf öğrencileri bu konuda bir eğitim almamış olmalarına rağmen bazı problem çözme stratejilerini informal olarak kullanabilmektedirler. 2- Problem çözme stratejileri 4. ve 5. sınıf öğrencileri tarafından öğrenilebilmektedir. 3- İlköğretim 4. ve 5. sınıf öğrencilerine verilen strateji eğitiminin her iki sınıfta da problem çözme başarılarını olumlu yönde etkilemiştir. 4- Problem çözme stratejileri eğitimi öğrencilerin problem çözmeye karşı olumlu tutum kazanmalarına yol açmıştır. Bu bulgulardan yola çıkarak problem çözme öğretimi için bazı öneriler geliştirilmiştir. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study, it is examined the learning and using of problem solving strategies in 4th and 5th grade students. This study is an experimental study and in order to perform the research, first experimental group and control group were chosen from 4th and 5th grade students attending Süleyman Cura Primary School in Bursa. Problem solving strategies named guess and check, look for a pattern, make a drawing, work backward, simplify the problem an make a systematic list were chosen. The experimental study took 10 weeks. In this time, every strategic was teached to experimental group and students were asked to solve any problem on these strategies. At the beginning and the end of the courses a problem solving achievement test was applied. While the experimental group was studying the experimental activities, on the other hand control group attended their traditional courses. Additionally, a previously developed attitude scale was used for investigating effect of the problem solving education on children's attitudes toward problem solving. The findings of the study are as follows: 1- It was observed that 4th and 5th grade students can informally use problem solving strategies without any problem solviug education. 2- Problem solving strategies can be learned by 4th and 5th grade students. 3- The problem solving education had a positive effect on students' problem colving success. 4- The problem solving education had a positive effect on students' attitudes toward problem solving. Based on the result of this study, some recommendations were developed for problem solving education. | en_US |
