dc.description.abstractAvrupa’da İkinci Dünya Savaşı sonrasında savaşların son bulması için devletler bir araya gelerek Avrupa entegrasyonunun temellerini atmışlardır. Üye ülkeler arasında barış ortamını büyük oranda sağlayan Avrupa Birliği, maalesef Avrupa’nın göbeğinde 1992 yılında Bosna Savaşı’nın yaşanmasına engel olamamış ve bu savaş sırasında istenilen desteği verememiştir. Bu savaş Avrupa Birliği’nin meşruiyetinin sorgulanmasına neden olmuştur. Bosna Savaşı Avrupa Birliği’nin güvenlik politikası geliştirmesinde etkili olmuştur. Ayrıca Avrupa Birliği, Balkan politikası geliştirmiş ve genişleme politikasına Balkanları da dâhil etmiştir. Bu ülkelerden biri olan Bosna Hersek’te hem barış ortamının devam etmesi hem de ekonomik gelişimine katkı sağlamak amacıyla dış politikasında Avrupa Birliği üyeliğini amaç edinmiştir. Günümüzde ülkede çatışma riski bulunmakta ve bu riskin giderilmesi için Avrupa Birliği’nin çözüm olacağı düşünülmektedir.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractFor Europe to end wars after the Second World War, states came together and laid the foundations for European integration. Unfortunately, the EU, which provided a peaceful environment among the member states in great measure, could not prevent the Bosnian War in 1992 from happening and failed to provide the desired support during this war. This war is the legitimacy of the EU. The Bosnian War has influenced the development of the EU's security policy. In addition, the EU has developed Balkan policy and has included the Balkans in its enlargement policy. BiH, one of these countries, aims at EU membership in foreign policy in order to continue the peace environment and contribute to economic development. Today, there is a risk of conflict in the country and it is thought that the EU will be the solution to eliminate this risk.en_US
