| dc.description.abstract | Bursa, eski dönemlerden bu yana şifalı kaplıca suları ve Uludağ’dan gelen içme suyu kaynaklarıyla, âdetâ bir su şehri olarak nitelendirilebilir. Bu suların değişik ihtiyaçlara cevap verecek şekilde kullanılması, mevcut bulunan alt yapının sürekli olarak bakımını ve onarımını sağlamakla mümkün olabilirdi. Osmanlı döneminde bu işin gerçekleştirilmesinde vakıfların büyük rolü vardı. Bu çalışmada, su kanallarının bakımına ve tamirine yönelik amaçlar için, Bursa şehrinde kurulan vakıflar hakkında bilgiler verilmektedir. Vakıfların işleyiş sistemi, şehrin ana su kaynakları ve içme suyu tarihine ait bilgiler de, çalışmanın kapsamı içerisindedir. Çalışmanın ana kaynağını oluşturan arşiv malzemesi, Bursa şer’iye sicillerinden elde edilmiştir. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | Bursa may be called, so to speak, “the city of water”, with its healing spasm and drinking water sources springing from Uludağ, which are as old as history. Using these water sources so as to meet a variety of needs required maintaining and repairing the existing infrastructure every now and then. The waqfs (pious foundations) played a great part in accomplishing this task during the Ottoman period. This studies gives information about the waqfs in the city of Bursa established for maintaining and repairing the water channels. Within the scope of this study are also the way that this system worked and the history of the main water sources and the potable water of the city. The archived materials, on which this study mainly draws upon were obtained from the judicial registers of Bursa. | en_US |
