| dc.description.abstract | Medya, artık toplumsal yaşantının her alanında yer almaktadır. Yaşanan bu değişimle birlikte, medya bireylerin düşüncelerinin, davranışlarının ve değer yargılarının oluşumunda önemli bir role sahip olmuştur. Bedenin medyada temsil ediliş biçimi açısından bakıldığında, medyanın sahip olduğu bu önemli rolün kadınların toplumsal konumunun belirlenmesinde de etkili olduğunu söylemek mümkündür. Bu alanda gerçekleştirilen pek çok araştırmada da belirtildiği üzere, kadınlar ve eşcinseller yazılı basında yeterince iyi temsil edilememektedirler. Bu çalışmada toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliğinin yaşama geçirilmesinde, yazılı basının önemli bir araç olduğu vurgulanmaktadır. Bu yüzden, bireylerin medyada kadınların ve eşcinsellerin temsil ediliş biçimlerinin farkında olmaları ve buna karşı bir duruş geliştirmeleri oldukça önem taşımaktadır. Bu doğrultuda, çalışmanın girişinde haber söylemine dair genel bir perspektif ele alınmıştır. Sonra, ikinci bölümde beden ve haber metinleri arasındaki etkileşim incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Ve son olarak, Türk basınında kadınların ve eşcinsellerin temsilinin daha gerçek ve ayrıntılı bir açıklamasını yansıtmak adına örnekler sunulmuştur. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | Media takes place in every field of social life. Along with this change, media has a significant role in the composition of the ideas, behaviors and value judgments of the individuals. Considering the representation of body in the media, it is possible to state that this significant role of the media is efficient in the assessment of women?s and homosexuals status in the society. As stated in many researches in this field, women and homosexuals are not well enough represented. In this study accomplishing the gender equality, it is emphasized that the print media is an important device. Because of this, it is essential that individuals be aware of the representation of women and homosexuals in the media and develop an attitude against this representation. Accordingly, in the studys introduction it has been handled a general perspective on news discourse. Then, it has been tried to examine the interaction between body and news texts in the second chapter. And finally, it has been submitted examples to reflect a more accurate and detailed account of the representation of women and homosexuals in the Turkish Daily Press. | en_US |
