| dc.description.abstract | Annemarie Schimmel, 1922-2003 yılları arasında yaşamış önemli bir dinler tarihçisi ve şarkiyatçıdır. Schimmel, İslâm dini araştırmalarında fenomenolojik metodu, ilk kez uygulamaya çalışmış ve bu dini Batı’ya yanlışsız aktarmaya çalışmıştır. Bu metodu, mistik yönü kuvvetli olan bir dinde incelemenin zor olduğunu bilen Schimmel, Türkiye’de, tasavvufî alanda yaptığı çalışmalarla daha çok anılmıştır. Onun, Celaleddin Rûmî, Yunus Emre, Hallac-ı Mansur sevgisi ve bu isimlerle ilgili verdiği eserler, tasavvuf alanında ön plana çıkmasını anlaşılır kılar. Ama aynı zamanda, onun dinler tarihçiliği yönü de bir o kadar kuvvetlidir. Ancak, onun bu yönü, yeterli düzeyde araştırılmaya tabi tutulmamıştır. Schimmel’in, Ankara İlahiyat Fakültesi’nde, Türkiye’nin ilk açılan dinler tarihi kürsüsüne öğretim üyesi olarak dört yıl görev yapması, İslâm dini ve mensuplarını bizzat ve yakînen tanıması kendisine özel bir ufuk kazandırmıştır. Onun, kazandığı bu ufuk, İslâm dini incelemesinde kullandığı fenomenolojik metod ve tasavvuf alanından aldığı destek, onu diğer şarkiyatçılardan ayrı bir konuma taşımıştır. Ayrıca Schimmel’in, pek çok dili ileri düzeyde öğrenmek ve dinî tecrübeleri yerinde incelemek gibi bir metodu vardır. Onun kullandığı metod, bu dine tarafsız bakabilmesine imkan sağlamıştır. Bu çalışmada, onun, İslâm dinini fenomenolojik metodla, nasıl ele aldığı ve bu hususta ne denli başarılı olduğu ele alınacaktır. Bu çalışmada, Schimmel’in çabasını ortaya koyabilmek için tarihsel ve fenomenolojik metod kullanılmış; Schimmel’in çeviri kitap ve makaleleri, onunla alakalı yazılan makaleler, yüksek lisans tezleri ve fenomenolojik metod ile alakalı yazılmış makale ve araştırmalardan yararlanılmıştır. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | Annemarie Schimmel is an important historian of religions and orientalist who lived between “1922-2003.” Schimmel tried to apply the phenomenological method in Islamic religious studies for the first time and tried to transfer this religion to the West without any mistakes. Knowing that it is difficult to study this method in a religion with a strong mystical aspect, Schimmel has been mentioned more in Turkey for her studies in the field of Sufism. Her love for Celaleddin Rumi, Yunus Emre, Hallac-ı Mansur and the works she gave about these names make it understandable that she came to the fore in the field of Sufism. But also, her history of religions is equally strong. However, this aspect of it has not been adequately researched. The fact that Schimmel worked for four years as a lecturer in the first chair of the history of religions in Turkey at Ankara Faculty of Theology, and that she knew the religion of Islam and its members personally and closely gave her a special horizon. This horizon she gained, the phenomenological method she used in the study of the religion of Islam and the support she received from the field of Sufism made her stand apart from other orientalists. In addition, Schimmel has a method of learning many languages at an advanced level and examining religious experiences on the spot. The method she used allowed her to look at this religion impartially. In this study, historical and phenomenological method was used with the influence of Schimmel, and Schimmel's translated books and articles, articles written about her, master's theses and articles and researches related to the phenomenological method were used. | en_US |
