Kur’ân’da sesin mânaya delâleti -Kıyâmet âyetleri örneği-

Abstract

Beşerin bir benzerini getirmekten aciz kaldığı Kur’ân; gerek harfleriyle gerek kelime ve cümleleriyle gerek de telaffuzuyla mânaya tesir eden üstün ifade gücüne sahip bir kitaptır. Onun üslubundaki canlılığını ve etkileyiciliğini ön plana çıkaran en önemli hususiyetlerden biri de hiç şüphesiz anlam dokusuyla birlikte meydana getirdiği uyum ve ahenktir. Bu çalışmada insicamın bir yönü olan sesin mânaya delaleti, Kur’ân’da kıyamet âyetleri özelinde incelenmiştir. Söz konusu çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, dilbilim çerçevesinde fonetik ve semantik hakkında genel değerlendirmelere yer verildikten sonra Arap fonetiği ve ses delaleti ile ilgili ön plana çıkan bazı temel özellikler ana hatları ile işlenmiştir. İkinci bölümde, Kur’ân’da sesin mânaya delaleti ile ilgili tespit edilen bu bilgilere, klasik ve çağdaş dönem âlimlerin yaklaşımları doğrultusunda yer verilmiştir. Özellikle Kur’ân’ın, konu ile ilgili çok fazla dillendirilmeyen hususiyetleri ortaya çıkarılarak, ses-mâna delaletinin üsluba tesir eden güzellikleri yansıtılmaya çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise diğer iki bölümde zeminini oluşturduğumuz çalışmanın âyetlere tatbiki ele alınmıştır. Sesin mânaya delaleti kıyamet âyetleri bağlamında, gerek kıyamet tasvirleri gerekse cennet ve cehennem tasvirleri çerçevesinde incelenmiştir.

The Qur'an, which human beings are incapable of replicating, is a marvelous book. Its superior linguistic expression power is highlighted in the special way it employs letters, words and sentences. One of the most important features that underline the vitality and impressiveness of its style is undoubtedly the harmony between the linguistic style and the configuration of meaning in the text. In this study, the signification of sound, which is an aspect of the coherence between the linguistic style and the configuration of meaning, is examined in the context of the apocalyptic verses of the Qur’an. The study consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, after giving general evaluations of phonetics and semantics within the framework of linguistics, some basic features that come to the forefront of Arabic phonetics and the significance of sound are outlined. In the second part, the information determined about the significance of the coherance between sound and the configuration of meaning in the Qur'an is discussed in the light of some classical and contemporary scholars. Furthermore this part will further consider relevant characteristics of the Qur'an which are not reflected in the thoughts of classical and contemporary scholars. In the third part an application of the discussion of the previous chapters to the apocalyptic verses is discussed. The significance of sound to meaning is examined in the context of apocalyptic verses, both in terms of apocalypse and in the depictions of heaven and hell.
