Abstract
Teknolojideki hızlı değişim ve gelişimin paralelinde bu teknolojiyi kullanan mühendis ve diğer meslek elemanlarının sürekli eğitim ihtiyacı hızla artmaktadır. Rekabetin artması ve kalite standartlarının sürekli yükseltilmesi özellikle toplam kalite anlayışı içerisinde görünmeyen maliyetlerin önemli bir bölümüne sebep teşkil eden eğitimsizliğin giderilmesinde sürekli eğitimin gerekliliğini de arttırmaktadır. Bu gereklilik dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de farklı eğitim modelleriyle giderilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada hayat boyu öğrenme şemsiyesi altında uygulanmakta olan farklı eğitim modelleri araştırılmış ve bu modellerin Uludağ Üniversitesi’ndeki uygulamaları irdelenmiştir. Çalışmada, tersine mühendislik, otomotiv, kalıpçılık, tasarım ve üretim alanlarında geliştirilen sürekli eğitim modelleri ile modüler eğitim yaklaşımlarına farklı uygulama örnekleri verilerek değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Bu değerlendirmeler sonucunda özellikle üniversiteler ile endüstri ve hizmet sektörü arasındaki sürekli eğitim işbirliklerinin etkin ve ekonomik çözümler ortaya koyabileceği görülmüştür.
With the rapid change and improvement in technology, the need for engineers and other employees using technology at work to get educated continuously is increasing a lot. It is a fact that the need for continuous education in industry and employment has increased for decreasing or eliminating the mistakes and wrong applications resulted from lack of knowledge or training, which cause to extra cost in manufacturing or serving, due to increase in commercial rivalry and the quality requirements. Different education models have been tried out in Turkey and in some other countries in the world to solve this education problem. This study is to search for different education models applied for life long education and get information about the milieu in which they are applied. In the study, different application examples about continuous education models applied in reverse engineering, automotive, molding, design and production sectors and modular education approaches are given. This study shows that with the collaborations between the universities and the sectorial establishments, in the continuous education and training activities, the problem mentioned above could be solved.
