Abstract
Enerji, hemen hemen tüm mal ve hizmet sektörleri için en önemli girdi, yaşam standardını yükselten vazgeçilmez bir kaynak; ama aynı zamanda kesilmesi durumunda hayatı ve kalkınmayı felce uğratan bir güvenlik riski, aşırı kullanımı sonucu gelecek nesillerin yaşamını tehdit eden bir çevre riskidir. Ulaşılabilir olma, ekonomik olma, elde edilebilir ve kabul edilebilir olma, enerji arz güvenliğinin temel boyutlarıdır. Bu çalışmada, literatürdeki temel tanımlar gözden geçirildikten sonra, enerji arz güvenliğini belirleyen ekonomik, siyasi ve coğrafi faktörler detaylı olarak tartışılacaktır.
Energy is a major input for almost all goods and services; a vital source which rises the standart of living; but a security risk which disrupts life and development in case of any cut offs as well as an environmental risk which threatens future generation’s lives due to heavy use of fosil fuels. Accessibility, availability, affordability and acceptability are the main dimensions of energy supply security. After exploring main definitions in the literature, economical, political and geographical determinants of energy supply security will be discussed in detail in this paper.
