dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada, empati eğitim programının İlköğretim öğrencilerinin empatik beceri düzeyini artırmadaki etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırma Bursa Özel Çakır İlköğretim Okulu’nda öğrenim gören dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin arasından seçilen 20 denekle yürütülmüştür. Bu araştırmada öntestsontest kontrol gruplu desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada deney grubunun (10 denek) yanında, Hawthorne etkisini kontrol etmek için plasebo kontrol grubu da (10 denek) kulanılmıştır. Araştırmada araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen empati eğitim programı uygulanmıştır. Bu program rol oynamaya, bilgilendirmeye, model almaya dayalı olarak hazırlanmıştır. Empati eğitim programı haftada bir defa olmak üzere toplam sekiz hafta uygulanmıştır. Oturumlar ortalama bir saat sürmüştür. Deney grubuna uygulanan empati eğitim programının tamamlanmasından sonra, her iki gruba da (deney ve kontrol grubu) son test olarak Bryant (1982) tarafından geliştirilen ve araştırmacı tarafından uyarlaması yapılan Çocuklar İçin Empati Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Grupların empatik beceri düzeyleri arasında anlamlı fark olup olmadığını test etmek amacıyla 2x2 split-plot analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda deney grubunda yer alan öğrencilerin kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere kıyasla empatik beceri düzeylerinin anlamlı düzeyde arttığı görülmüştür.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractIn this research, the effects of the empathy training program in increasing the emphatic ability levels of primary school students were studied. The research was carried out with 20 subjects, who were 4th grade students at Bursa Çakır Private Primary School. The research is pretestposttest with controlled group, split-plot design. Besides the treatment group (10 subjects), a placebo control group (10 subjects) was also designated to control the Hawthorne effects. The empathy training program the developed by the researcher in this research. This program the developed depended on role-playing, informing, and modelling. The empathy training program was performed once a week for 8 weeks. Each session lasted 1 hour on average. Upon completion of the empathy training program that had been applied with the treatment group, both groups (the treatment group and the control group) were applied as posttest the Scale of Empathy for Children, developed by Bryant (1982) and adapted by the researcher. Comparing pretest and posttest measures of emphatic ability levels across the groups, the data analysis used was analysis of 2x2 split plot for repeated measures. As the result of a set of analyses performed on the data, the emphatic ability levels of the subjects in the treatment group, as compared to the subjects in the control group, were found to have increased meaningfully.tr_TR
