dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, yanıcı/parlayıcı sıvıların tanımı ile bu sıvılar için belirlenen tehlike sınıfı standartları tanıtılmıştır. Yanıcı/parlayıcı sıvı depolanan binaların yangın güvenliği ve yangından korunması için mimari açıdan olması gereken tasarım özellikleri ile bu ürünlerin depolama şekilleri incelenmiştir. Boya ve tiner gibi yanıcı/parlayıcı sıvı maddelerde meydana gelebilecek yangınların gelişimi açıklanmıştır. Ayrıca bu sınıf yangınlarda kullanılacak yangınla mücadele sistemleri başarı derecelerine göre sınıflandırılarak, Yaşam Döngüsü Maliyeti açısından yangın söndürme sistem seçimi için tavsiyeler verilmiştir.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractIn this study, definition of combustible/flammable liquids and the classification standards of these liquids are introduced. Fire safety of the buildings where combustible/flammable liquids are stored, the architectural requirements for fire safety of these buildings and storage of those kinds of liquids is investigated. Fire propagation of the combustible/flammable liquids like paints, thinner and solvents is explained. By classifying the moreover, fire fighting systems used in this type of fires according to their levels of performance, some recommendation are provided for fire extinguishing systems with repaid to the life cycle cost proposals.en_US
