| dc.description.abstract | Fetihlerini at üzerinde yapan Türkler, ata ulaşım aracından daha ötede bir anlam yüklemişlerdir. Ata verilen önemden dolayı, gerek devletlerarası ve gerek devlet yöneticileri arasında at, hediyeleşmede vazgeçilmez unsur olmuştur. Bu önem aynı zamanda at binit takımlarına da yansımıştır. Atın, özellikle üst düzey devlet adamları arasında hediyeleşme unsuru olmasının yanında, Osmanlı erkeklerinin takı takmama gelenekleri, zenginliklerin at binit takımlarına yansımasına neden olmuştur. Devlet erkânının zenginlik ve gösterişi at binit takımlarında kendini göstermiştir. Böylece, binit takımları kişilerin gücünü ve konumunu yansıtan bir ayna olmuştur. Öyle ki, teşrifat kuralları gereğince kimin nasıl ata bineceği ve nasıl binit takımı kullanacağı belirlenmiştir. Saraya hediye olarak gelen binit takımları raht hazinesinde muhafaza edilmiştir. Farklı parçalardan oluşan at binit takımlarında, değerli kumaşlar kullanılmış olup, kıymetli taşlarla zenginleştirilmiştir. Bu çalışma, Topkapı Sarayı’nda 18. Yüzyıla ait Has Ahur, defterine kayıtlı olan binit takımlarının incelenmesiyle hazırlanmış olup, Osmanlı kültür tarihine katkı sağlanmayı amaçlanmaktadır. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | Turks who made conquests on horseback valued horses more than a transportation vehicle. For this importance, horses became one of the significant presents among statesmen and also between the rulers. Therefore, it is interesting to see the reflection of that importance on the saddle sets. Besides the value of the horses between the statesmen, another factor was the lack of tradition with ornaments for personal adornment between the Ottoman men. This made the saddle sets one of the stages where their richness and vanity were displayed. Saddle sets reflected the power and position of the persons. Later on it was regulated as the ceremonial rules of the palace who is going to ride which horse and use what kind or color of saddle. The saddle sets which were given to the Ottoman palace as presents were preserved in a special treasury called “raht”. These saddle sets were made of luxury fabrics and precious stones. This study comes out from the researches made on the saddle sets from the records of “Has Ahur” in Topkapı Palace. The purpose of this study is hopefully to contribute to the Ottoman cultural history. | en_US |
