Eisenmenger sendromlu çocuk hastaların telekardiyografi ve elektrokardiyografi bulguları

| dc.description.abstract | Amaç: Eisenmenger sendromlu hastaların elektrokardiyografi ve telekardiyografi bulgularının değerlendirilmesi. Yöntemler: Eisenmenger sendromu tanısı almış olan 23 çocuk hasta ve yaş, cinsiyet, vücut ağırlığı ve boy açısından benzer özelliklere sahip 20 sağlıklı çocuk çalışmaya dahil edildi. Çalışma grubunun tümünün elektrokardiyografi ve telekardiyografisi çekildi. Bulgular: Eisenmenger sendromlu hastaların elektrokardiyografilerinde %4.3 normal aks, %56.5 sağ aks, %21.7 sol aks ve %17.4 kuzeybatı aks olduğu saptandı. ‹ki grup arasında kalp atım hızı incelendiğinde anlamlı fark olmadığı gözlendi (p=0.515). PR aralığı Eisenmenger sendromlu hasta grubunda 0.138 ± 0.025 sn, kontrol grubunda ise 0.120 ± 0.017 sn olarak bulundu (p=0.009). Eisenmenger sendromlu hastaların elektrokardiyografilerinin incelenmesi, bu hastaların %87’sinde sağ ventrikül hipertrofisi ve %30’unda sağ atriyal dilatasyon olduğunu gösterdi. Sağ ventrikül ileti gecikmesi Eisenmenger sendromlu 8 vakada (%34.8), sağlıklı 1 vakada (%5) görüldü (p=0.024). Tele bulguları incelendiğinde, Eisenmenger sendromlu 19 vakada (%90.9) pulmoner konusun kabarık olduğu, 19 vakada (%90.9) vaskülaritenin arttığı ve kardiyotorasik indeksin 0.561 ± 0.082 olduğu görüldü (p<0.001). Sonuç: Elektrokardiyografi ve telekardiyografi Eisenmenger sendromlu hastaların değerlendirilmesinde kullanılabilecek, kolay ulaşılabilen tetkiklerdir. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | Background: Evaluation of the electrocardiographic and telecardiographic findings of the patients with Eisenmenger syndrome. Methods: Twenty-three patients with the diagnosis of Eisenmenger syndrome, and 20 age, sex, body weight and length matched, healthy controls were included in the study. Electrocardiographic records and telecardiography of both groups were performed. Results: It was found that; 56.5% of the patients with Eisenmenger syndrome had right-axis deviation, 21.7% of the patients left-axis deviation, 17.4% of the patients superior axis and 4.3% of the patients normal axis. Heart rates were not different statistically in the groups (p=0.515). Besides, PR intervals on electrocardiograms of patients with Eisenmenger syndrome were longer than healthy controls (0.138 ± 0.025 seconds for patients with Eisenmenger syndrome, and 0.120 ± 0.017 seconds for healthy controls) (p=0.009). Examination of electrocardiograms of patients with Eisenmenger syndome showed that, 87% of patients had characteristics of right ventricular hypertrophy, and 30% characteristics of right atrial dilatation. Right ventricular conduction delay was observed in 8 patients with Eisenmenger syndrome (34.8%) and only in 1 healthy control (5%) (p=0.024). Evaluation of the telecardiographies of the study population showed that, 20 (90.9%) patients with Eisenmenger syndrome had chest roentgenograms with increased pulmonary vasculature, and prominent main pulmonary artery segment. Cardiothoracic ratios were also found to be higher for these patients (0.561 ± 0.082 for patient with Eisenmenger syndrome and 0.463 ± 0.009 for healthy controls) (p < 0.001). Conclusion: All these findings suggest that electrocardiography and telecardiography are the simple tests that can be widely used for evaluation of the children with Eisenmenger syndrome. | en_US |
