Abstract
Bu çalışmada Cumhuriyet döneminde kırsal alanda yapılan çalışmalar incelenmiştir. İncelediğimiz dönemde Bursa’nın köylerine Bursa Halkevinin köycülük komitesi tarafından geziler yapılmış, köylülere sağlık, sosyal, kültürel alanda bilgiler verilmiştir. Amaç Osmanlı döneminde unutulan göz ardı edilen köylüyü bilgilendirmek, köylü şehirli ayrımını kaldırıp toplumun bir bütün şeklinde ele alınmasını sağlamaktır. Halkevleri kapatılışına kadar Atatürk ideolojisini köylere yaymak, Cumhuriyet köylüsü yaratmak için çalışmışlardır.
In this study activities that took place in rural areas during the early periods of the Republic are investigated. Field trips were made to the villages of Bursa by the Village Committee members of the Bursa Community Center and the village communities were informed about the health, social and cultural issues. The purpose of was to educate the village people that were neglected during the Ottoman period, and to redefine the unity in the society by eliminating the gap between the urban and rural communities. The Community centers served the purpose of spreading Atatürk ’s ideology throughout the villages in order to create the Republic’s village community until they were shut down eventually.
