Abstract
Tezimiz, "John Hick'te Din Dili" adını taşımaktadır. Araştırmamız üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Biz bu çalışmamızda John Hick'in ortaya koyduğu felsefenin sonuçlarını din dili bağlamında ele alıp analiz etmeye çalıştık. John Hick dinî tecrübe anlayışıyla, inanç konusunda insanî tecrübe ve etkinliğin önemini vurgulamaktadır. Onun bu konudaki iddiası insanı, vahyeden aktif bir Tanrı karşısında pasif konumundan kurtarmaktır. Bu iddianın doğal sonucu ise, "zâtî" Tanrı karakterine yeni bir vurgu ve tarihsel olaylara müdahale eden, kutsalla insan arasındaki ilişkiyi teolojik gerçeklerin kabul ve bildiriminden daha kapsamlı bir noktada ele alan bir vahiy düşüncesidir. Buna göre Tanrı, her zaman ve her yerde bizimle beraberdir. Dolayısıyla herhangi bir insan, Tanrısal tezahüre açık olduğu zaman, Tanrı'yla ilgili açık bir görüş sahibi olur. Bu anlayışın sonucu ise, önermesel formda kutsal kitaplarda ifade edilmiş kutsal metinlere ihtiyaç olmadığıdır. Dini çoğulculuk, öncelikle pratik olgulardan hareketle Hıristiyan din felsefecileri ve teologları tarafindan son yıllarda tartışmaya açılmıştır. Bu akım içinde Paul F. Knitter, Wilfred Cantwell Smith, John B. Cobb ve John Hick gibi günümüzün dikkat çeken teolog ve din felsefecileri yer almaktadır. Biz bu çalışmada, sadece John Hick'in görüşlerini referans olarak aldık. Bu çalışma, Hick'in dini dili anlayışının arka planını oluşturan "dini tecrübe", "evrenin dini açıdan belirsizliği", "delilsiz rasyonel inanç", "önermesel olmayan vahiy" ve benzeri düşüncelerini tespit ve tahlil etmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
The name of our thesis is "The Religious Language At John Hick". Our investigation consists of three chapters. In our study, we try to analyze the results of philosophies that John Hick put down with the perspective of religious language. John Hick emphasizes the importance of human experience and efficiency of faith with his understanding of religious experience. His claim about this issue is, to relieve the human of his inactive position against God who reveal. The natural result of this claim is a thought of revelation which gives a new emphasis on personal character of God, interferes with historical events, deals with the relationship between the sacred and the human at a more comprehensive level than acceptance of theological facts and their declaration. According to that, God is with us at any time and any place. Therefore, any person will hold a view about God when he is open to spiritual manifestation. The result of this approach is, there is no need sacred texts which were represented in propositional form in sacred boks. In recent years, religious pluralism has been a common subject of discussion by philosophers of religion and theologians. Paul F. Knitter, Wilfred Cantwell Smith, John B. Cobb and John Hick have been considered to be the leading scholars within this new movement. In this study, particularly taking into account John Hick 's perspectives, we aim to study his ideas about "religious language", "religious experience", "religiously ambiguity of the universe" and "rational belief without proofs", "nonpropositional revelation" that form a background for his religious language.
