Abstract

“Out-Patient" Sağlık Kuruluşları, hastane içinde, cerrahi klinikleri ile kombine çalışan, hastane içinde bağımsız kurulumlar ve tamamen bağımsız kurumlar olarak organize edilmişlerdir. ASA sınıflandırmasının II ve III sınıfındaki hastalar kuruma kabul edilmektedir. Genel, lokal ve eşitli rejyonal anestezi teknikleri uygulanmaktadır. En önemli komplikasyonlar ameliyat sonrası kusma, bulantı ve hipotansiyondur. Hastaların hastanelere transfer oranı % 0.2 dir. Out-patient cerrahisi, özenli ve kaliteli hasta bakımı ve ekonomik yönden büyük tasarruf sağlamaktadır.

The organization of out-patient unit is a good alternative to conventional in-patient surgery. Patients who have ASA Status I or II accept for "Day-care surgery ". General anesthesia and a wide variety of local and regional anesthesia techniques may be used. The common complications have been postoperative nausea or emesis and hypotension. The hospital transfer rate has been 0.2 percent. Out patient surgery provides high quality care and economic justification.
