Hasene’nin hayatı ve siyasi kimliğinin araştırılması hedeflenmiştir. Erken dönemde İslâma giren sahâbî, ailesiyle birlikte hicret ettiği Habeşistan’dan hicrî 7 yılında son kafileyle dönmüştür. Hicretten dönüş yolunda Resûlullah’ın Habeşistan’dayken evlendiği eşi Ümmü Habîbe’ye eşlik etmiştir. Resûlullah’ın kâtipliğini yapmış ve elçilik görevi için Mısır’a gönderilmiştir. Hz. Ebû Bekir’in halifeliği döneminde ilk kumandanlık görevini Ridde savaşlarında yapmıştır. Kumandanlık görevine Şam fetihleri için gönderilen orduda devam etmiştir. Pekçok bölgenin fethine katılan Şürahbîl, Ürdün bölgesinin tamamını fethederek “Ürdün Fatihi” sıfatını almıştır. Hicrî 18 yılında Amvâs Tâunu’nda vefat eden Şürahbîl b. Hasene adına inşa edilmiş muhtelif bölgelerde 4 adet kabir bulunmaktadır.In our work called Surahbîl bin Hasene in Politic Islamic History it is aimed to research life of Surahbîl b. Haseneand his political identity. The companion of proğhet Mohammed who became the muslim in early age, returned from Ethiopia where he immigrate with his family in hijri seventh years with the last group on the way of returning from immigration he guided. Mohammed’ (a.s) wife Ümmü Habibe who he got married in Ethiopia. He was the clerk of the Hz. Mohammed and he was sent to Egypt as on ambassandor. He first became commander in the Ridde war in the term of when Hz. Ebû Bekir was caliph. He continued his duty as a commander in the military that was sent to conquest of Şam. Surahbîl attended the conquest of a lot of region, He conquer the whole Jordan and he gained name of “Conqueror of Jordan”.
