Lipomların cerrahide ekstirpasyonu sonrası ortaya çıkan; uzun postoperatif iyileşme dönemi, yara ayrılması, kötü skar gibi olumsuzlukların önüne geçmek için liposuction uygulanması önerilmektedir. Kliniğimizde vücudunun değişik yerlerinde multiple lipom bulunan üç olguya liposuction uygulanmış, sonuçlar yeterli bulunarak literatür verilerinin ışığı altında incelenmiştir.Other than its use in cosmetic surgery, liposuction has come into common use alternatively to excisional surgery at an increasing number of diseases. Liposuction is now advocated in order to avoid the problems encountered after surgical extirpation of lipomas; such as long healing period, wound dehiscence and bad scar.
