Cirrhosis of the liver is the most common condition associated with HPS. A 3-year-old boy who presented with end-stage liver disease and severe hepatopulmonary syndrome underwent orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT). The findings of HPS resolved immediately after OLT. His status is within normal limits at 6 months after liver transplantation.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessTransplantationSurgeryImmunologyShuntPortopulmonary hypertensionTreatment outcomePulmonary arteryOxygenMaleLiver transplantationLiver cirrhosisHumansHepatopulmonary syndromeChild, preschoolCarbon dioxideAngiographyLiver transplantation of a child with child a cirrhosis and severe hepatopulmonary syndromeArticle0002387005000592-s2.0-33745211601432143438516797324TransplantationSurgeryImmunologyHepatopulmonary Syndrome; Liver Transplantation; Chronic Liver FailureTreatment outcomePriority journalPreschool childPostoperative periodMaleLung scintiscanningLiver transplantationLiver cirrhosisHumanHepatopulmonary syndromeDisease severityContrast echocardiographyClinical featureClinical examinationCase reportArticle
