Seven German Shepherd dogs were used as materials. A total of 35 ejaculates, five from each dog, were collected. The seminal plasma of each ejaculate was separated by centrifugation at 5000 rpm for 10 min. Biochemical analyses of the seminal plasma were performed. In conclusion, the average concentrations of total protein, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium and potassium were 3.75 +/- 0.21 g/dl, 3.22 +/- 0.32 mg/dl, 2.49 +/- 0.25 mg/dl, 4.50 +/- 0.37 mg/dl, 137.25 +/- 1.98 mEq/l and 12.25 +/- 0.69 mEq/l, respectively.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessSemenOriginDogSeminal plasmaBiochemical parametersScience & technologyLife sciences & biomedicineVeterinary sciencesDetermination of some biochemical parameters in the seminal plasma of german shepherd dogsArticle000186594500030983986274
