Araştırmada adi fiğ kompleksi içerisinde yer alan V. sativa subsp. sativa L.,V. sativa subsp. macrocarpa,V. sativa subsp. nigra, V. sativa subsp. cordata ,V. sativa subsp. amphicarpa ,V. sativa subsp. segetalis ,V. sativa subsp. angustifolia alttürleri ve bu alttürler arası bazı melez kombinasyonları kullanılmıştır. Hazırlanan örneklerde kromozom sayımları gerçekleştirilmiş ve kromozom boyları ölçülmüştür. Yaptığımız çalışmalarda, subsp. sativa, subsp. macrocarpa ve subsp. segetalis'in 2n=12, subsp. cordata ve subsp. nigra'nın 2n=10, subsp. angustifolia ve subsp. amphicarpa'nın 2n=14 somatik kromozoma sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. Ebeveyn alttürlerde polen canlılığı çok yüksek bulunurken, melezlerde polen canlılığı çok düşük bulunmuştur.This study was conducted to determine chromosome numbers and caryotypes of common vetch (Vicia sativa L.) subspecies and their hybrids in 2015 and 2016 experimental years. In this study, the following subspecies V. sativa subsp. sativa L.,V. sativa subsp. macrocarpa,V. sativa subsp. nigra, V. sativa subsp. cordata ,V. sativa subsp. amphicarpa ,V. sativa subsp. segetalis ,V. sativa subsp. angustifolia and their hybids were investigated. Chromosome numbers and karyotype analysis were reported in the study material. In our study, somatic chromosome numbers of subsp. sativa, subsp. macrocarpaand subsp. segetalis were found as 2n=12, subsp. cordata and subsp. nigra as 2n=10 and subsp. angustifolia and subsp. amphicarpa as 2n=14.
