Bu amaçla beş genotipten (GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4 ve GT5) alınan tohumlar, içerisinde 4 farklı yetiştirme ortamı bulunan saksılara ocak ayında ön işlem uygulaması yapılmadan ekilmiştir. Denemede yetiştirme ortamı olarak torf+kum (2:1 hacimsel), torf+perlit (2:1 hacimsel), tınlı toprak+çiftlik gübresi+kum (2:1:1 hacimsel) ve mantar kompost atığı+kum (2:1 hacimsel) karışımları kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar çıkış özelliklerinin genotipler ve yetiştirme ortamlarına göre istatistiksel anlamda önemli farklar gösterdiğini ortaya koymuştur. Deneme sonucunda en yüksek çıkış oranı (% 83.33) torf+perlit (2:1 hacimsel) yetiştirme ortamına ekilen GT5 genotipi tohumlarında saptanmıştır.This study was carried out to determine the effect of growing media on seedling emergence characteristics of Celtis australis genotypes native to Serik district of Antalya province. For this purpose, seeds of five genotypes (GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4 and GT5) were sown in pots filled with 4 different growing medium in January without pre-sowing treatment. In the experiment, loamy soil+well fermented manure+sand (2:1:1 by volume), peat+perlite (2:1 by volume), peat+sand (2:1 by volume) and spent mushroom compost+sand (2:1 by volume) mixtures were used as growing medium. Results indicated that there were significant differences in emergence characteristics with respect to genotype and growing medium.
