Restoration of a flat and smooth nailbed is essential forregrowth of a normal nail, which is important not only for cosmetic reasons but also for tactile capability of the fingertip. It is serious to promote patient comfort and prevent pain during subsequent dressing changes. Absence or no replacement of the nail plate results in obliterated proximal skin fold.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessSurgerySutureSplintingSplintIntubationHumansCatheterizationSplintsReconstructive surgical proceduresNailsIntubation, gastrointestinalHumansCatheterizationA nasogastric catheter splint for a nailbedLetter0002387257000292-s2.0-3374560900012012057116799328SurgerySurgical Flaps; Flaps (Control Surfaces); Metacarpal BonesSplinting; sutureSplintSkinfoldPriority journalNasogastric catheterNail bedLetterHumanFinger tip injuryCatheter
