Bu maksatla hastaların brakial arterine sabit bir süratle (dakikada 100 mikroünite) insülin perfüze edilmiş ve Aseton-Asetoasetik asid (A-AA) ve Beta Oksi Butirik Asid (BOBA) ütilizasyonları incelenmiştir. İnsülin tesiri ile A-AA fraksiyonu ütilizasyonun BOBA fraksiyonu ütilizasyonuna nazaran daha fazla olduğu görülmüştür.Studies of insulin effects on keton bodies utilisation on the forearm of diabetic patients. In this study, the effect of insulin on keton bodies utilisation in the forearm tissues of 12 diabetic patients were investigated. Insulin was perfused through brachial artery by constand perfusion (100 micro unit/ sec.), and arterial and arterial and veinal Ace ton-Acetoacetic acid (A-AA) and Betaoksibutyric acid (BOBA) levels were determinated.
