Hastaya parsiyel çekum rezeksiyonu ile birlikte total kistektomi ve apendektomi yapılmış ve boyun boşluğundaki mukusu boşaltmak suretiyle tedavi edilmiştir.An 80 year old patient with a pain at his back for 6 years, is diagnosed as pıeudomyxoma peritonei after findings at the ultrasonography and paracentesis. The ruptured appendix mucocele seen during the operations proved that the diagnosis was correct. Partial cecal resection together with total cystectomy and appendectomy in addition to mucus aspiration from the abdominal cavity.
