Therefore, the main objective of this study is to promote the republic of Belarus to the Turkish audience and help people broaden their body of knowledge about this country. Geographical, historical, geopolitical, socio-economic and demographic findings and interpretation constitute the multi-level fields of debate of this Belarus-oriented study. In this study, not only were the historical and current administrative structure of Belarus and the resulting consequences examined, but the comparative geographical, socio-economic and demographic analyses of the provinces (oblats) were carried out as well.
