Of these books which have been written by Turkish as well as by foreign authors is the one written by Dr. Euguene Schuyler from the USA. The book which was translated into Turkish in 1877 gives detailed information about folkloric life of Turkish peoples living in Russian Turkistan, Khokand, Bukhara and Hive.
